The Little Hearts Qur’an Journey is not a complete Arabic-reading curriculum, tajwīd course, pronunciation course, full tafsīr or replacement for a qualified Qur’an teacher. Use a qualified teacher or trusted recitation source for accurate pronunciation and tajwīd.
It does not promise that a child will master every surah, and it is not a workbook a young child is expected to complete alone. It is a parent-guided resource for family learning.

Before you begin
Is my four- or five-year-old too young?
Not necessarily. The journey is parent-guided. Younger children can listen, point, choose, answer verbally, colour, match and move with your support. Follow your child’s attention and development rather than forcing a fixed pace.
Does my child need to memorise the surah first?
No. Listening, memorisation and understanding can grow together. You can explore one meaning while your child is still learning the words.
Does my child need to read or write independently?
No. You can read the explanations and questions aloud. Your child may respond verbally or through pointing, drawing, colouring and choosing.
Must we follow the modules in order?
No. Begin with the surah your child currently hears, recites or feels curious about. The familiar six-page rhythm makes it easy to enter the journey wherever your family is.
Do we need to complete one module every week?
No. A module can take a week, several weeks or longer. Follow understanding and your child’s attention—not the calendar.
How much time do we need?
Approximately five to ten calm minutes can be enough. Listen to one āyah, share one explanation, ask one question or complete one small part, then stop while the moment still feels warm.
Can I use this alongside Qur’an classes?
Yes. A qualified teacher can support accurate recitation, while this journey helps bring meanings, conversations and practical lessons into family life.
Does the journey teach tajwīd?
No. It focuses on meaning, reflection, conversation and daily-life connection. Use a qualified teacher or reliable recitation source for pronunciation and tajwīd.
Can I use it for Muslim homeschooling?
Yes. It can be used as a Muslim homeschool resource, weekend-learning guide, after-school activity book or gentle family Qur’an routine.
Do I need to print everything?
No. Print one module, one activity or one card at a time. The separate Digital-Use Edition is included for families who also want on-screen access.
Can we use it on a tablet?
